Nicky van der Walt wants the world to know that he and wife Lee-Ann Liebenberg are on good terms again …
This, following their marital drama which played out on Instagram last month to the surprise of the couple’s followers.
On Wednesday, the restaurateur and wine-maker posted a sexy pic of his model wife on his IG Stories with the caption: “My ride or die always. I love you”.
A few weeks ago, Nicky also posted a pic of the brunette beauty on his feed, with the caption; “My world”.
HAVE THE COUPLE KISSED AND MADE UP?
The public declaration of love comes hot on the heels of allegations Nicky – who owns Sandton hotspot Tang – was accused of having an extra-marital affair.
A woman by the name of Emily Kark was implicated in the scandal which had social media in a tizz, when Lee-Ann Liebenberg essentially named-and-shamed her online.
“Emily Kark you can have him”, the former Miss SA finalist posted on her IG Stories following a bombshell revelation moments prio,r which read; “It is with great sadness that Nicky and I have made the decision to part ways after 10 years of marriage”.
Nicky hastily responded to his wife of a decade’s statement, shrugging it off on what he claims was a result of her postpartum depression following their third child Jagger’s recent birth.
Following a public apology to Emily, which she has since deleted, Lee-Ann also alluded to rekindling her romance with Nicky when she posted not one but two snaps of herself at his restaurant. Interestingly, she used a ‘peace sign’ and ‘kiss’ emoji to caption one of them.
LEE-ANN LIEBENBERG MAKES HER OWN CRYPTIC POST
Nicky may be doing his best to convince us that that chapter is over, and it seems so is his wife.
Lee-Ann Liebenberg posted a picture of herself to commemorate Women’s Day earlier this week with a cryptic caption which read; “A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink”.
