Kim Kardashian might be the Queen of reality TV, but her dream of attending the official Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the UK will not materialise.

According to the Daily Mail, officials at Buckingham Palace have rejected the SKIMS founder’s pleas to attend the Platinum Party at the Palace on Saturday 4 June.

A representative of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told the publication that when they were sent by Kim, 41, to ask for tickets to the event for herself and comedian boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, they were turned down.

“Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn’t visit the UK often. Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration,” her representative said.

It is also reported that both the Palace and publicists at the BBC – which will broadcast the event – rejected Kim’s pleas for tickets.

However, more reports suggest that Kim is very determined to be a part of the royal event and that she doesn’t mind if the tickets are “not VIP”.

According to The Independent, Kim and Pete landed in London on Monday ahead of the event.

While Kim’s representative tried to solicit tickets, the couple visited the River Café in Hammersmith, west London, on Monday night. Ruth Rogers, the owner of the café, posted a photograph of herself opening a car door for the couple on her Instagram.

The pair was also spotted on a shopping trip in Mayfair.

According to the Daily Mail, approximately 10,000 tickets were allocated via a public ballot, and 7,500 have been given to key workers, those in the Armed Forces, volunteers and charities.

The likes of Queen, Diana Ross and Nile Rodgers will reportedly perform at the event, while Sir David Attenborough and David Beckham will make appearances at the event that Kim and Pete desperately want to attend.

Members of the Royal Family are expected to attend on behalf of the Queen, who will be watching on TV from Windsor Castle.

The 96-year-old queen is the first British monarch in history to reach a Platinum Jubilee, which marks 70 years on the throne.

Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne on Feb. 6, 1952, following the death of her father, King George VI, ABC reports.
