South African amapiano DJ Lady Du is still grieving the loss of fellow artists Killer Kau and Mpura. The two musicians were killed in a car accident two weeks ago along with 4 other people while travelling to a gig in Rustenburg. Shortly after their death, Lady Du took to Instagram to share an emotional video and now she has paid tribute to her friends with a heartwarming tattoo.

Lady Du pays tribute to Mpura and Killer Kau

South African amapiano artist Lady Du is seemingly finding a way to deal with the grieve that came with losing her fellow musicians and close friends, Killer Kau and Mpura. On Saturday 7 August this year, Mpura along with Killer Kau and 4 other artists were killed while driving on the N4 in Marikana on their way to Rustenburg to perform there.

Lady Du was left emotionally distraught by the news and shared an Instagram live video of herself in tears while discussing how saddened she was by the heartbreaking news.

She has seemingly found a way to honour the late stars by getting a wrist tattoo dedicated to Mpura and Killer Kau. Taking to her Instagram page once again, Lady Du shared a snap of the tattoo which consist of a hand showing the peace sign as well as two small hearts and some doves flying away.

“Peace magents,” she captioned the heartwarming tribute.

Celebs and fans alike give it a thumbs up

The tattoo was well received by her ample fans and supporters. Many of them headed to the comment section where they shared many messages of love and support with her. Among those who liked the post were South African celebs Boity Thulo and Cassper Nyovest.
