The amapiano star’s girlfriend paid tribute to him in a heartwarming video compilation shared on Instagram. Olwethu Mkhwanazi shared some of the amazing moments she shared with her partner.

In the caption of her post she wrote, “There’s literally no greater pain, my heart has been ripped out of my chest. It didn’t have to be this soon kodwa Sakhii. I literally don’t have the words right now but I love you my ACE!”.

Killer Kau and Mpura were at the peak of their careers at the time of their passing. Killer Kau had taken the music industry by storm, with his single Tholokhuti Hey when he was still in high school. Since then he had worked with some of amapiano’s biggest names.

Mpura was the man behind one of Mzansi’s biggest amapiano singles in December, Umsebenzi Wethu. The single features Amaroto, Lady Du and Busta 929. Mpura was also quite the fashionista and showed off some of his original designs on his Instagram page.
