‘Find your inner fire’: Khanyi Mbau’s ex Tebogo Lerole reaches out to her

Khanyi Mbau’s ex-boyfriend, musician Tebogo “Edward Billion” Lerole has reached out to her, showing support amid her “great Dubai escape” from boyfriend Kudzai Mushonga on Tuesday 31 August. 

KHANYI’S ‘GREAT DUBAI ESCAPE’

Khanyi Mbau and her businessman boyfriend Terrence Kudzai Mushonga were showing off their best “soft life” on vacation in Dubai for the last two weeks. However, there seemed to be trouble in paradise earlier this week when Kudzai dropped Khanyi off at a salon and waited for her to call him to pick her up but hours went by and she had not communicated with him.

This led to Kudzai going on an anxious social media spree telling his followers that he is driving around looking for her because she is missing. However, Khanyi was safe and in motion – on a flight back to South Africa without letting him know.

It is still unclear why Khanyi Mbau left her boyfriend “high and dry” in Dubai but her brother Lasizwe Dambuza dropped a hint that something serious took place between the pair. 

“Not everything is about you, DO REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THAT MORNING!! You don’t want me to go there!! Stop this!!,” wrote Lasizwe in the comments section of Kudzai’s previous live video.

TEBOGO LEROLE REACHES OUT TO KHANYI 

Amid the ongoing drama between Khanyi and Kudzai, Khanyi Mbau’s ex boyfriend Tebogo Lerole reached out to her on Instagram. 

“I am glad you’re home and safe. Please take some time out, find your inner fire and ignite it. Wishing you strength, Godspeed,” wrote Lerole on Instagram.

Khanyi Mbau and Tebogo Lerole were together for a decade before they broke up in 2020. The break up was not an easy one for Lerole, he shared a heartfelt post “accepting defeat” when Khanyi moved on with Kudzai, saying he loves her. 

“Up above is a clip I believed to be my/our own perfect/imperfect family and for once I believed this world would end with us standing by each other’s sides. I love M and M2 profoundly, just thinking of moments and our journey leaves me giggling. I don’t know how I lost the both of them, however I cherish and will always cherish the day the Creator tangled our paths,” wrote Tebogo Lerole on Instagram. 

“She is an amazing human and has such an adorable smile – she must constantly glitter. I am grown enough to accept defeat,” he continued. 

The post has since been deleted.
