Kelly Khumalo has given fans a health update after admitting to experiencing a rather unusual side effect of the COVID-19 vaccine
According to the singer, she experienced a numbness in her lady bits, shortly after receiving the jab.
The reality TV star made the confession in an Instagram video.
Speaking in her infamous Russian alter ego Barbra, Kelly Khumalo updated fans on the situation down there.
“Everything is operating. We are open for business, everything back to normal,” she said in the amusing clip posted to Instagram.
She encouraged her followers to get vaccinated, adding; “Please go and get movaccine”.
Earlier this month, the star gave fans a detailed account of her experience.
“They tell me listen mam, you’re going to maybe experience a slight headache, maybe you’re arm is going to be paining.
“But they don’t mention that certain parts of my body, she’s not going to be functioning proper…I don’t feeling anything down under. Is it just me or the repercussions of movaccine?”
A number of her followers claimed they also experienced the same feeling of numbness.
“I’m glad I’m not the only one,” claimed one follower, whilst another added: “I felt the same way i was thinking that it’s just my mind”.
Hilariously, comedian Nina Hastie shared her own experience, quipping: “I had the opposite- all of a sudden my down under is working. It fixed me”.
Kelly Khumalo was not the only celeb to experience side effects of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Actress Rami Chuene went as far as to claim she “almost died” after getting her first jab after experiencing symptoms like numbness, fatigue and headaches.
But like Kelly, Rami insists that “all’s well” and that she is awaiting her “drama-free second jab”
Both Kelly and Rami join a long list of celebrities who are getting vaccinated and sharing the news with their followers. Stars like Pabi Moloi, Basetsana Kumalo and Lerato Sengadi, who have posted selfies of themselves proudly displaying their vaccination cards.
