Here’s a look at their net worth.

QUEEN CONSORT’S NET WORTH, INHERITANCE

After years of being together in ‘secret,’ Camilla and Charles finally tied the knot in 2005. But the Queen Consort has always lived a very comfortable life, even before marrying the King and getting her new title.

Born into a family of full-blown aristocrats, Camilla is the daughter of successful businessman Major Bruce Shand, and Rosalind Cubitt, Cosmopolitan reports. Her ties with the Cubitts scored her an inheritance of £500 000 (estimated at R11 million), as per Independent.

After her divorce from ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles, the Queen Consort reportedly bought a country mansion for £850 000 (about R18.6 million).

According to The Telegraph, Camilla kept the home, even after marrying King Charles.

“The Queen Consort has spent most of her life as a private citizen—so she understands the meaning of shutting your front door and having a place to yourself,” a source reportedly told the publication.

“Ray Mill is the only place where she can literally and metaphorically kick off her shoes and spend time with family and friends in a really informal setting. It’s an escape from royal life, and it will be treasured even more greatly now,” the source added.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Camilla has a total net worth of $5 million (About R89 million). This is totally separate from the King’s fortune.

PRINCESS OF WALES’ NET WORTH, INHERITANCE

The Princess of Wales’ family is worth millions, but she’s managed to also rack up quite the bank balance. And she has a few royal titles that add to her net worth, The Sun reports.

According to Cosmopolitan, Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, are self-made millionaires thanks to their company, “Party Pieces.”

The publication reports that the company sells party supplies and was valued at around £30 million (estimated at R682 million) in 2013.

Celebritynetworth reports that the Princess of Wales’ net worth is estimated in the region of £10m (about R227 million).

And then there is her husband’s fortune.

As per Cosmopolitan, the royal family doesn’t have prenups. Thus Kate and William share everything and get an added income for being “working royals.”
