Kanye West is said to have arrived on Wednesday morning wanting to chat with executives at the sneaker company about potential business.

Controversial rapper and fashion designer Kanye West showed up uninvited to Skechers headquarters in Manhattan Beach after Adidas gave him the axe for his recent barrage of anti-Semitic remarks. 

Page Six reports that the disgraced fashion designer — who also goes by Ye — arrived Wednesday morning wanting to chat with executives at the sneaker company about potential business opportunities. .

KANYE ESCORTED OUT OF THE BUILDING

In a released statement, Skechers explained that Kanye arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles.

“Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorised filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.

“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech”

“The company would like to again stress that West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices,” emphasised Sketchers.

Skechers — which has partnered with such celebrities as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Camila Cabello and even West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian — is notably owned and operated by a Jewish family, – as per Page Six.

BILLIONAIRE STATUS GONE

 The father of four is no longer a billionaire — in dollars — after losing his partnership with clothing brand Adidas following his antisemitic comments.

According to Forbes on Tuesday 25 October, the 43-year-old rapper was worth $2 billion (R36 billion) but is now worth $400 million (R7.2 billion).

During his now-deleted interview on the Drink Champs podcast on 16 October, Kanye West said: “I can say antisemitic s**t and Adidas cannot drop me.”

Following this, the German sports brand said Ye’s comments had been “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness”.
