Is Kanye West trying to win back Kim Kardashian?

Avid followers of Kim Kardashian were left a little shell-shocked when the reality star announced that she would be splitting from husband, Kanye West, earlier this year. As the chaos around their split intensifies, sources close to the rapper revealed that Kanye believes he can win his wife back.

Kanye believes ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’

Speaking to HollywoodLife the unnamed source said:

“Kanye honestly feels that he can get Kim back. There is so much strain thanks to so many obstacles with quarantine. And both of them wanting to live in different parts of the country, to the kids and his overall health.”

“He is realistic and knows that co-parenting is the way forward since Kim has had enough. But he feels it can be used as a breather to where distance will make the heart grow fonder and she will realise what she is missing.”

Despite their split, the couple who have been married for seven years, will still be a big part of each other’s lives. At the request of Kim, they will be sharing joint physical and legal custody of their four children – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Is Kim already dating someone new?

However, while Kanye has been spotted still wearing what appears to be his wedding ring, Kim may already be dating someone new. Rumours about a potential new romance with singer/songwriter Drake started doing the rounds on Friday 5 March when the Grammy winner released his Scary Hours 2 EP.

Fans were quick to note that the track, titled Wants and Needs (featuring Lil Baby), seems to reference Kim and Kanye. Although the lyrics don’t mention either of them by name, there is a possible reference to Kanye and a past relationship between Drake and Kim.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Drake has been involved in romance rumours with Kim. In December 2018, Kanye called Drake out on Twitter for following his wife on Instagram. The now-deleted tweet said:

“I had to bring this up because it’s the most f–ked up thing of all and I just saw it this morning. Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram.”

Meanwhile, Kanye seems to remain very committed to Kim and his children regardless of their crumbling marital status.
