Kanye West has a reputation for going off the deep end when it comes to the fashion department, and this time around we’re not even surprised…

The rapper trended online after he posted a picture of his new haircut – showing off a partially shaved head to his 8,8 million followers.

Kanye West’s new hairdo had the Internet in stitches, and rightfully so!

The rapper – spotted in several bizarre face masks over the past few days – was ripped to shreds by Twitter users who posted a flood of memes in response to his new look.

“Kanye letting Stevie Wonder cut his hair for a sample clearance,” read one tweet.

“Maybe there was loadshedding while Kanye West was doing his hair ko salon”, read another.

Others claimed the style had a hidden meaning.

And one fan had a profound theory…

“Kanye West is an intelligent man and everything he does usually projects certain issues. His hair cut signifies the division between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.. The world is divided on which is right or wrong. As long as we’re not one, we’re an ugly world.”

Meanwhile Kanye West has officially changed his name to “Ye”.

According to Rolling Stone, the muso was granted permission by the Los Angeles Superior Court to formally change his name from Kanye Omari West to just Ye, with no middle name or last name.

The father of four cited “personal reasons” for the change, claim the publications.

Back in 2018, Kanye claimed the name “Ye” had a religious significance for him.

He said in an interview with Big Boy: “I believe ‘Ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means ‘you’.

So I’m you, I’m us, it’s us. It went from Kanye, which means the only one, to just Ye – just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything.
