On Tuesday, 21 February, Kwaito legend Kabelo Mabalane—also known as Bouga Luv, from the 1990’s TKZee group, took to his timelines to announce that he would be “ministering” a men’s conference on 25 February and invited guests to come to the Brave Men’s Conference and listen to “the word” of God.

ABOUT MABALANE’S BRAVE MEN’S CONFERENCE

In a video, the kwaito legend recently shared on Instagram, he invited men to join him at Rhema Bible Church in Randburg, Johannesburg, over the weekend for a Brave Men’s Conference.

In the video, the revived star said,

“It is my privilege and honour to invite you to Rhema Bible Church this Saturday. Half past eight is our Brave Men’s Conference. Come get the word poured into you. The word is alive and is active. It will empower you; it will equip you and affirm you to be a Godly man.

When sharing the clip, Mabalane captioned,

“REMEMBER, GODLY MEN ARE NOT PERFECT MEN, BUT MEN FULLY RELIANT ON BEING HOLY SPIRIT-LED!”

Mabalane also shared that after attending the conference, there would be entertainment such as “drifting, 5-a-side soccer, and food stalls”.

A BRIEF BACKGROUND ON HOW FAR KABELO HAS COME

The one-third of the legendary kwaito trio that made hit songs like Shibobo/The Final Countdown, Dlala Mapantsuala, and more in the 1990s and early 2000s, had previously shared his history as a recovering drug addict.

According to Sunday World, Mabalane did an interview on Podcast and Chill where he revealed that he lived a “rock-star life” in his 20s and shared insight on how he lost R2 million on drugs.

In 2020, Mabalane announced he’d been sworn in as a Pastor, Zalebs reported. He was said to have given his fans a free pass to call him whatever they liked, whether it was Pastor Bouga Two Shoes or Pastor Bouga Luv.
