Former Proteas cricketer Jacques Kallis and wife Charlene have said their hearts are bursting after the recent arrival of their newborn baby.

Earlier this year, Jacques Kallis and his wife, Charlene, confirmed that they would soon be expecting baby number two, who was welcomed to the world on 19 April.
The famous former cricketer took to social media to confirm the family was doing well after the birth of Chloé Grace Kallis. “Introducing our beautiful baby girl, Chloé Grace Kallis, born this morning at 08:37. Our tiny little princess weighing in at 2.88kg already got Daddy wrapped around her little finger. Mom & baby doing well and Joshy is loving his little sister. Our hearts are exploding!”

Over a week later, Charlene posted a beautiful video, and shared how their family was now ‘complete’.
“It’s been over a week since you’ve been born my beautiful little Chloé! The bags under my eyes & the scar on my tummy are nothing compared to the love I feel for you and your big brother Joshy! My heart has expanded in ways I never thought was possible,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Joshy has been the absolute BEST big brother, helping Mommy with every feed and nappy change, even at 4am. He just loves his little thisther so much and I could not be more proud! Our family is finally complete! I am so in love, so grateful for a beautiful delivery and utterly blessed from Above.”

Kallis is renowned as one of the greatest cricketers to have ever played for the Proteas, while at home he is a husband and doting dad to his 3-year-old son, Josh, and, now his newborn daughter.
Earlier this month, the couple took to social media to share a few photos from their pregnancy photoshoot.
