Imbewu: The Seed actress, Mapule Mchunu, who plays the role of a sangoma on the show says she’s being targeted by scammers on social media.

Mchunu says the scammers have all her photos and are impersonating her on Facebook and Instagram.

‘THEY WANT TO DESTROY MY CAREER’

The actress told Daily Sun:

“It’s scary because I now suspect that maybe I have an enemy who pretends as if they love.”

The actress suspects that the scammer is someone close to her and wants to destroy her life and has asked her fans to assist her by reporting the fake accounts.

Mchunu, who joined the popular e.tv soapie in September is also wondering why she is being targeted now when she’s just started her TV career.

The actress also suspects the scammers may want to destroy her career as they’re jealous of her.

“They sound like they know everything about me and post my photos.”

“When you read the captions, you’d swear they were written by me. “

“A stranger can’t know much about me and a stranger cannot do this.”
