Riette Nel, a South African-born England-based citizen has spoken out about being the daughter of billionaire businessman Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk. According to her, she had spoken to Errol about getting a paternity test and he initially agreed but has now stopped corresponding with her.

Elon Musk may or may not have a half-sister!

Riette Nel’s life was changed forever after hearing that she is the daughter of Errol Musk who fathers Tesla billionaire, Elon Musk. According to the 46-year-old, her mother Riana van Deventer a South African woman, revealed the truth to her brother Gerrit while on her death bed in 2019.

After hearing this from her brother Gerrit who stays in Cape Town, Nel wasted no time contacting Errol who surprisingly responded quite warmly to hearing he may or may not have a secret daughter.

In a number of emails whose existence was verified by the Daily Mail, Errol agreed to take a paternity test and even told Nel that she is beautiful while adding that she had strong facial features like the rest of the Musk family.

Shortly after agreeing to take the paternity test, Errol stopped responding to Nel’s emails even though she made it clear that she is not interested in financial gain should the test prove that he is in fact her father. She also says that she and her 21-year-old son Micha have the right to know the truth.

“I don’t want anything from Errol or Elon, I just want to know what my roots are. ‘I have told Errol you are welcome to have your attorneys draw up a contract which says I am not entitled to any kind of remuneration. The only thing I am interested in is to know if you’re my dad,” she tells Daily Mail.

Errol denies all claims

Despite proof that had initially entertained the idea of having a fourth daughter, Errol Musk has since denied any chance of being Nel’s dad. He told the publication that Nel had sent him a photo of her mother but he does not recognise the woman in the photo at all.

“I told her I have never seen the person in the photograph,” he said.

Responding to further claims that he and van Deventer had done their business on the bonnet of his Rolls Royce right outside the Union Buildings in Pretoria, Errol says he did not even drive a Rolls Royce during that period.

He maintains that during Nel’s conception, which took place in 1975, he drove a Mercedes Benz and only purchased a Rolls Royce about 5 years later.

Meanwhile, Nel recalls her mother often leaving on lavish trips with a rich man whose details she always refused to reveal to her children at home.

“All she told me was that the guy had a lot of money, he had a Rolls Royce and a yacht. I believe that man was Errol because everything just fits. He was the guy with the money. He was the arrogant guy, self-entitled, self-assured. And he didn’t treat women the way he was supposed to,” says Nel.

Errol however denies cheating on his first wife and mother to his children Maye Musk.

Desperate to prove she’s related to the family, Nel has tried to contact Elon, Kimbal, and Tosca Musk to no avail and so her quest continues.
