Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has successfully leveraged a career in professional wrestling into being one of the most bankable box-office stars in the world.
With all that fame has come a considerable fortune and the Great One has settled in a digs befitting his stature.
The Rock currently resides with his wife Lauren Hashian and two daughters Jasmine and Tiana in a mansion in Beverley Park, Los Angeles. The home was previously owned by comedian and actor Paul Reiser.
Among his neighbours are Hollywood A-listers Sylvester Stallone, Denzel Washington, Rod Stewart, Eddie Murphy and Sofía Vergara.
Alongside six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, the home also features a tennis court, a spa, a world-class gym, a baseball diamond, a music studio, a movie theatre, an elevator, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Esteemed arichitect Grant Kirkpatrick designed the red roofed mansion which spans a massive 17,630 square feet and was built in 1993 on a commission from rockstar Alex Van Halen in 1993.
The sprawling property also boasts loggias, stone fountains, idyllic trails and a guesthouse spanning 2,500-square-foot.
The opulent estate is situated at the end of a cul-de sac and has a Mediterranean compound with Ivy archways. It has a lengthy olive tree-lined driveway which heads to the motor court, where the Rock can indulge his passion for cars.
Reiser put the incredible property on sale at the beginning of 2021 and slapped a whopping $30 million asking price onto it. The Rock purchased the estate on April 2021 for a slightly reduced figure that was reportedly fixed at $27.8 million.
The Rock doesn’t appear to have any plans to step back into a WWE ring any time soon despite rumours that he is being lined up for a bloodline mega-match with Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania.
