THE CORONATION EVENTS THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF SUSSEX WILL ATTEND

According to DailyMail, it is “likely” that there will be negotiations to determine what events Prince Harry and Meghan will attend at King Charles III’s coronation.

The publication reports that decisions about seating allocations and what the Duke and Duchess will wear have yet to be negotiated. The issue of their security also needs to be discussed.

Reports have suggested that not all royal family members will appear on the balcony. This forms part of the King’s “slimmed-down” monarchy.

The coronation festivities will kick off with the King’s Procession on Saturday, 6 May.

The procession will follow the coronation service. After that, the newly-crowned King and Queen Consort will return to the Palace in a larger Coronation Procession, The Sun reports.

After the procession, the Royal Family will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, the publication reports.

MEGHAN MARKLE TO SNUB KING CHARLES’ CORONATION AND NOT ‘FACE THE MUSIC’

During an interview with The Mirror, a royal insider spoke out about Harry and Meghan’s expected coronation attendance.

Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, is unsure whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ready to “face the music.”

“It’s likely to be incredibly uncomfortable for them if they attend, particularly Meghan.”

“Are they prepared to face the music?” Burrell tells The Mirror.

“I don’t think Meghan’s brave or strong enough to be there – she’d have to look in the eyes of a family she’s pushed under the bus,” he said.

He added that he thinks Harry may attend the coronation alone.
