A TOUGH DECISION AWAITS HARRY AND MEGHAN AHEAD OF CORONATION

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to be in a bit of a pickle.

Harry is still demanding an apology from William and King Charles before he attends the royal coronation, but a royal commentator told MailOnline that there could be serious consequences should the couple decide to skip the coronation.

In an interview with MailOnline, Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said Harry and Meghan “dare not stay away” from the royal coronation, despite their feeling towards the royal family.

According to The Times, the Duke of Sussex feels the royal family owes him and Meghan an apology for how they have been treated. Harry previously accused the other royal households of leaking and planting stories about him and his wife. He said he would not confirm to attend the coronation until he gets an apology from William and his father.

Fitzwilliams described the couple’s decision on whether or not they will attend, as a “dilemma,”, especially after King Charles’ latest olive branch.

The King, who previously evicted the pair from their only UK home, reportedly permitted the couple to stay in Frogmore Cottage while in the UK for the coronation.

THE COUPLE COULD ‘APPEAR IRRELEVANT’

During the interview, Fitzwilliams explained that should the couple decide not to attend the royal service, they would “appear irrelevant.”

“The Sussexes have contracts with Netflix, Spotify, and Random House. They only have these because they are members of the Royal Family. If they did not attend this momentous event they will seem very out of touch,” he told MailOnline.

In an interview with Marie Claire, Fitzwilliams says:

“The signs are that—especially since it is unclear what they want to do in the future and their obvious reliance on their royal status for their lucrative contracts—this is changing fast.”

According to the royal commentator’s interview with Marie Claire, the British public has already lost interest in the pair, with Americans soon to follow suit.

And it is highly unlikely they will receive an apology from the royal family.
