PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE’S CORONATION DEMANDS

There is no official word yet on whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend King Charles III and the Queen Consort’s coronation on 6 May.

But a palace insider did tell The Sun that negotiations are underway.

The publication reports that Harry and Meghan are demanding the inclusion of their children in the guest list for the service.

The couple also reportedly wants to join senior members of the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony after the service, a source tells OK!.

According to The Mirror, the Sussex kids’ attendance has “never been a bone of contention.”

As source told the publication that small children cannot attend a coronation “due to restlessness and tantrums.”

A Palace insider told OK! that the couples failure to officially accept their invitation until their demands are met could plunge the entire event into chaos.

“The Palace are trying to wrap up negotiations as quickly as possible because they can’t go right up to the wire. It could lead to chaos.”

“It could very well be that it ends in stalemate, and they won’t attend. But the Palace is doing everything in its power to not let that happen,” the source told the publication..

Reports have suggested that not all royal family members will appear on the balcony. This forms part of the King’s “slimmed-down” monarchy.

The coronation festivities will kick off with the King’s Procession on Saturday, 6 May.

The procession will head to Westminster Abbey for the coronation service.

Following the service the newly-crowned King and Queen Consort will return to the Palace in a larger Coronation Procession, The Sun reports.

After the procession, the Royal Family will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, the publication reports.
