PETA slams chef Ramsay over viral video: ‘Those lambs are just babies’

Last weekend, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay found himself in hot water after sharing a video of himself entering a lamb pen to choose one of them for slaughter. The clip went viral as many remarked that he has gone too far and that the video was quite cruel.

Animal rights group PETA has since joined in on the bashing and has called on Ramsay’s children to disown him and go vegan following the video.

PETA wants Gordon Ramsay’s kids to go vegan

Gordon Ramsay sure knows how to ruffle feathers and he does it effortlessly.

The Hell’s Kitchen star just upset hundreds and thousands of TikTok users after sharing a video of himself choosing a lamb for slaughter.

While many people argued that meat has to be slaughtered before it is eaten – others remarked that the video was taking things a bit too far – especially because there are so many vegans and vegetarians on the app.

Meanwhile, PETA has since shared their thoughts on the matter and thinks that Gordon Ramsay doesn’t deserve to be a parent.

The non-profit organisation has called on his children to disown him the same way that Elon Musk’s daughter has disowned him.

A ‘callous and foolish man’

They also suggested that the children turn vegan, according to a Business Insider article.

“Gordon Ramsay is a callous man who makes a fool of himself,” PETA UK Vice President Elisa Allen said in a statement sent to Insider. “Intimidating gentle lambs is loutish, not amusing.”

“What would be funny is if his children went vegan and disowned him — much in the way Elon Musk’s daughter disowned her father,” Allen continued.

“Those lambs are just babies who want little from life but the chance to live it and not end up in this moron’s — or anyone else’s — mouth.”
