Former Newzroom presenter Tumi Nkgapele joins SABC

Former Newzroom Africa sports presenter Tumi Nkgapele has joined SABC.

According to Daily Sun, the celebrated fast-rising sportscaster will be headlining Hollywoodbets League match build-ups on SABC Sport every Sunday on SABC1.

Nkgapele made her debut on 3 May.

TUMI NKGAPELE JOINS SABC

With an illustrious career spanning a number of years, she has been dubbed the next big thing in sportscasting.

Confirming the news, the presenter said it has always been her dream to be part of SABC.

“I am firstly in awe of what God is doing in my life in elevating me like this in my career. I’m also super excited to join a channel which I’ve always wanted to be part of since I started in the industry,” said Nkgapele.

The bubbly present also has a slot on SAfm.

She made her debut on SAfm’s new line-up alongside veteran broadcaster Michael Abrahamson.

Abrahamson presents a daily sports show Top Sport while Nkgapele keeps listeners in the loop with all sports updates on Beyond the Headline with Aldrin Sampear.

In recent years Nkgapele has fast become a brand.

However, she left her followers guessing after revealing that there was more to come and would keep everything under wraps for now.

Tumi Nkgapele said: “Some I can’t disclose yet but all I can say is that people should stay glued to SABC and everything will unfold. I will share more on my social media platforms when it’s all ready.”

Many quickly concluded that she had bagged another gig with the national broadcaster.

She also revealed that everything happens for a reason and one should always hunt ones dreams despite setbacks.

No doubt she has been winning big of late and is poised for greatness.
