Mother of Fetty Wap’s daughter disputes death certificate leak
While the death certificate reveals Lauren’s cause of death, her mother says that she is still waiting on the autopsy to come back.

The death certificate for four-year-old Lauren Maxwell, daughter of rapper Fetty Wap revealed that she died of a heart defect.
However, Lauren’s mother, musical artist Turquoise Miami slammed TMZ for releasing the child’s death certificate saying that Lauren’s autopsy has not come back as yet.
CAUSE OF DEATH REVEALED ON DEATH CERTIFICATE
According to the death certificate obtained by media outlet TMZ, Lauren is said to have died from “a fatal cardiac arrhythmia due to complications of congenital cardiac anomalies”. Lauren has reportedly had this heart problem since birth resulting in the irregular heartbeat killing her.
The death certificate also states that the four-year-old passed away on 24 June at her home in Riverdale, Georgia. Turquoise Miami only confirmed the death of her daughter on Sunday, 1 August followed by Fetty Wap posting a tribute to Lauren on his Instagram account on Tuesday, 3 August.
However, the rapper mentioned Lauren in an Instagram story following a performance at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami last month. Neither of the parents revealed any details of Lauren’s death leaving many questions lingering in the minds of many.

TURQUOISE MIAMI DISPUTES DEATH CERTIFICATE
Turquoise Miami was upset following the leak of her child’s death certificate and took to Instagram to clear the air on why she did not publicise Lauren’s cause of death. She says that Lauren’s autopsy did not come back as yet and “cardiac arrhythmia” is not the full cause of death.
“This is what y’all people do for fun. F*** all y’all. Her death certificate says cardiac arrhythmia due to a congenital heart defect, BUT THAT IS NOT THE FULL CAUSE OF HER DEATH THAT IS WHY THE AUTOPSY HASN’T COME BACK! HOW DARE Y’ALL GO STEAL MY CHILD’S DEATH CERTIFICATE AND ANNOUNCE THE CAUSE OF DEATH BEFORE ANYBODY WAS READY. THERE IS A REASON WHY! HER AUTOPSY ISN’T BACK YET,” wrote Turquoise Miami on her Instagram story.
She went on to express that she thought this was disrespectful of TMZ.
Since Lauren’s death, old Instagram stories of Turquoise Miami calling out Fetty Wap for not being there physically or emotionally for their daughter surfaced. However, she addressed the screenshots saying that Fetty Wap worked on his relationship with his daughter off Instagram and became more financially and emotionally there for her.
