‘Expect the Unexpected’: Who is DJ Zinhle’s ‘village’? [photos]
From her boyfriend Murdah Bongz to AKA’s mom Lynn ‘Glammy’ Forbes, here’s who has been a part of DJ Zinhle’s ‘village’.

South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known by her stage name DJ Zinhle, revealed she was pregnant on 23 August and since then, she has praised the support system she has.
‘IT TAKES A VILLAGE’
DJ Zinhle revealed her pregnancy through the trailer of her upcoming reality show Expect the Unexpected which premieres on BET Africa on 18 September. Expect the Unexpected is not her first reality show as she previously starred on It Takes A Village on SABC 1, which saw the DJ’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of young women in South Africa starting in her hometown Dannhauser, KwaZulu-Natal.
Although the upcoming reality show focuses more on DJ Zinhle’s life rather than the life of others, she still expresses her gratitude to those who have helped her through her pregnancy as she attempted to hide the baby bump while working up until she was six months pregnant.
“Listen, I don’t think I’d be able to do anything that I do right now without the support of the people I have around me,” said DJ Zinhle to The Citizen.

So, who is DJ Zinhle’s “village”?
1. MURDAH BONGZ
Black Motion’s Bongani Mohosana, popularly known by his stage name Murdah Bongz, is DJ Zinhle’s boyfriend and the father of her child.
The business woman expressed that her partner has been with her from the beginning when they took the pregnancy test together and he has been supportive through the process.
“Bongani and I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I think because of my first pregnancy I wasn’t as scared as I could’ve been. It’s a big change … I’m super excited but also super nervous. He’s very nervous about it but also super supportive and I think it made our relationship more solid,” said DJ Zinhle to Tshisa Live.
Murdah Bongz shared a picture of himself inside the baby’s nursery on his Instagram a few days ago.
2. MOOZLIE
Television presenter Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena is also one of DJ Zinhle’s close friends that she regards as part of her support system. While DJ Zinhle is running several businesses, she revealed that Moozlie often picks up her first-born Kairo Forbes, who she shares with rapper AKA, from school. Moozlie is also a brand ambassador for Era By DJ Zinhle.
“Sometimes I feel as though women shy away from help, women want to be heroes, they want to do everything themselves. I’m not saying that everyone can afford help, I’m saying that wherever there is help, you need to trust it,” said Zinhle to The Citizen.
3. AKA’S MOM ‘GLAMMY’ FORBES
DJ Zinhle also has help raising Kairo from her own mother, AKA’s mother Lynn “Glammy” Forbes and two nannies. Kairo’s grandmother Glammy Forbes is the administrator of the six-year-old’s Instagram page where she already has one million followers.
Glammy recently showed DJ Zinhle love and support by posting a picture of Kairo on her Instagram account with the caption “big sister”.
