Emtee arrested for alleged assault

Emtee has been topping trends after he was arrested. The celebrated rapper was arrested in the backdrop of gender-based violence accusations.

He was arrested after Nicole Chinsamy claimed she was assaulted on Valentine’s day.

Taking to social media, Emtee’s wife pulled a shocker when she dropped a series of bruised pictures online. She has it that Emtee assaulted her after he lost his cool.

However, this is not the first time the two have made all sorts of headlines for the wrong reasons. A few years ago, Emtee revealed that his wife was abusing him.

ASSAULT CHARGES AGAINST EMTEE

After all, in the wake of these daring allegations, Emtee has since responded to the alleged abuse allegations.

The award-winning singer has it that he is not an abuser. However, Human Rights Groups have since assisted his wife in opening a case of assault against him.

In the wake of these developments, the singer has since turned himself to the police to answer the charges levelled against him, according to ZAlebs.

POLICE CONFIRM ARREST

Mzansi has been puzzled by Emtee’s availability on social media of late. He has been tweeting like a free man leaving many wondering if he was indeed arrested. City Press reported that Emtee handed himself to the police and was charged with assault.

The police confirmed his arrest and updated him on his subsequent court appearance. However, it seems as if Emtee is out on bail. The court dates are yet to be established,
