A new report reveals that Elon Musk had quite the fit after Joe Biden’s tweet got more engagement than his. Taking the matter very seriously, the billionaire allegedly contacted his team of engineers who worked tirelessly to develop a system that would boost his tweets.

As a result, timelines all over the world were flooded with tweets from the business mogul – something he bragged about with an hilarious meme.

Elon Musk apparently can’t stand a little competition.

The SpaceX and Tesla founder reportedly couldn’t hold back his annoyance after US president Joe Biden’s Super Bowl tweet did better than his.

According to Platformer, Musk demanded that his engineers find a way for his tweets to do better than everyone else’s.

This after Biden retweeted a video of his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, showing support for the Eagles who were playing against Kansas City Chiefs.

Musk also tweeted in support of the Eagles, but deleted his tweet four hours later.

According to Business Insider, Biden’s tweet gained nearly 29 million impressions, while Musk’s tweet got over 9 million impressions – evidently not good enough for him.

Finding a drastic solution to the problem

After the game, around 80 engineers reportedly worked around the clock to create a system that allows Musk to receive increased promotion on his tweets above other users “by a factor of 1,000,” Platformer reports.

The publication also reports that Musk flew out to the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco to speak to the aforementioned engineers face-to-face about the matter.
