‘DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected’: Five bombshells from season two

Season two of DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected officially ended on Saturday 29 October. Here is a look at five bombshells from the second season of the reality series.

1. DJ ZINHLE REVEALS SHE’S MARRIED 

On the first episode of this season, DJ Zinhle revealed that Murdah Bongz had paid lobola to her family. So, she considers the father of her daughter Asante – Murdah Bongz her “husband” although the wedding did not take place as yet.

“Bongani and his family came to my mom’s house to negotiate lobola. And we decided that it should be a small thing, with just family,” she said.

“I’m excited to be his wife, I’m excited to try something I never would of thought would happen for me. So now I’m married and I love telling people that,” she continued.

According to News 24, the businesswoman said that getting married is like getting a gift from God.

2. DJ ZINHLE AND MURDAH BONGZ ARE BUILDING A HOME TOGETHER 

The Umlilio hitmaker revealed that she and her “husband” are building a home together.

“Bongani and I have a goal. We want to build a house and for us to build a house we understand how much work it is going to take,” she said. 

“Let’s make sure this house is fully paid for by the time we are done. I don’t want to take any loans. So, your splurging on clothes…” she continued.

3. THE WEDDING WILL COME AFTER THE HOME 

DJ Zinhle expressed that she is excited for her wedding, but also said that it will only come after her house is built.

“The wedding is going to be stunning. It is going to be amazing because I was never meant to get married,” she said.

“I’m excited but we have a big project ahead. We have to build this home for our children and only then we can think about the wedding,” she continued.

4. DJ ZINHLE OPENS UP ABOUT BEING TROLLED ON TWITTER 

The DJ also opened up about being trolled on Twitter which most times is over having two “baby daddies”. She had her first child Kairo Forbes with rapper AKA and her second daughter Asante with Murdah Bongz.

“I’m not the only person who has two baby daddies in the world. Like there’s other girls. People are trying to make them feel ashamed of not being married or having like kids with different fathers like we have to have this conversation,” she said.

She went on to reveal that she deleted Twitter.

5. MURDAH BONGZ BREAKS SILENCE ON FIRST CHILD

The Black Motion star also broke his silence on his first child and first “baby mama”. He revealed that he keeps the identity of the child and mother private because the mother had asked him to do so.

“The thing is they don’t really know what is going on. I don’t have a to prove a point or anything, you know? The child’s mother asked that I don’t bring the child any unnecessary attention. So, that’s why I don’t post her,” he said.
