‘Get over the guy’: DJ Zinhle shares co-parenting advice

South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle shared co-parenting advice via an Instagram Live session.

DJ ZINHLE SHARES CO-PARENTING ADVICE 

Umlilo hitmaker DJ Zinhle is a mother of two. She has a seven-year-old daughter named Kairo Forbes with rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. The DJ also has a one-year-old daughter named Asante Mohosana with musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Morda.

DJ Zinhle is “married” to Morda but has a good co-parenting relationship with AKA. So, how does she do it? Well the businesswoman revealed that as a mother she had to remove herself from the situation and get over the guy.

“You have to get over yourself. Get over the guy. If you hate him, get over it. You have to do this thing for the children. Remove yourself and your things from the situation,” she said in an Instagram Live according to Tshisa Live. 

“Some people are difficult to co-parent with but you need to be a few steps ahead,” she continued.

MORDA ON FIRST ‘BABY MAMA’

On the DJ’s reality show, she revealed that she was often dragged on social media for her relationship with “baby daddy” AKA. Her husband Morda revealed that his experience with his first “baby mama” was different. 

Morda had another child from a previous relationship. There is not much information available on the child or the child’s mom. He explained that his “baby mama” asked that he not bring the child any unnecessary attention. So, this is why he doesn’t post her or their baby.

“The thing is they don’t really know what is going on. I don’t have a to prove a point or anything, you know? The child’s mother asked that I don’t bring the child any unnecessary attention. So, that’s why I don’t post her,” he said.
