DJ Zinhle has been slammed for her “mean girl energy” after she tweeted her response to a disgruntled customer who purchased her Hair Majesty wig.

A woman by the name of Thulisile Lushaba went viral over a TikTok video that criticised the quality of her R3000 “custom” wig.

But like before, tweeps are claiming Zinhle had an “attitude” when dealing with other females.

ZINHLE VS DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER

Over the weekend , Thulisile’s TikTok video naming and shaming DJ Zinhle and her hair collection Hair Majesty went viral.

In it, the Gauteng woman slated the star for “false advertisement” with the description of the item. She also slammed the mom-of-two’s company for sending her package to the wrong province!

She later added: “I actually rate them a 0/10. I was generous in the video. What a waste of money.”

After being inundated with calls for her to respond, DJ Zinhle took to Twitter to update her followers.

She tweeted: “This must be the first time in history that a business receives a bad review…

Just so you know, I have contacted the customer and we are dealing with it. Further than that, I can’t help you guys”.

Zinhle also took a swipe at journalists who tried to contact her for comment.

She added: “To all journalists & publications who are now in possession of my private number, please delete it and never ever call me. If you need anything, please email my office. I refused to be harassed & abused by you guys”.

Thulisile updated her fans on Sunday, that se had received a DM from DJ Zinhle who promised to “rectify” the situation.

MIXED RESPONSES FROM TWEEPS

Following her response, a few fans defended Zinhle and claimed that the woman took it too far by creating a TikTok video about her experience.

However, the overwhelming response was from tweeps who called Zinhle out for her “arrogant” response.

@phile_andiswa: “Big brands deal with bad reviews behind the scenes, you could’ve contacted the lady without coming here on Twitter to tell us. In such a mean girl energy nogal? Aibo Zinhle”

@MhlengiNombeko: “The way you guys are so arrogant and never listen to customers the same people that bring business is so sad.  This is the very same reason why people don’t support black excellence…just try to be humble, we use our hard-earned money and expect quality”

@Bophelo54851162: “Zinhle, sit down and humble yourself! The least you could have done was apologize, give the customer the quality she deserved, and moved on. This arrogance is disgusting for black excellence I must say. NB: QUALITY OVER QUANTITY”

@Praise707: “Honestly if I’m going to pay 3k on hair I expect nothing but the best. Take that review and do better”

@Bee46353940: “You’re selling Small Street wigs at a high price, stop with the arrogance. Also, false advertisements to rip people off”

@luxolo029: “Businesses are built on reputation and this was one of the first customer complaints. How you come out to make a statement like this reveals how arrogant your brand is and how you deal with complaints”
