South African musician DJ Zinhle recently visited Dubai and was left shocked by their exorbitant food prices. Heading online, the popular DJ left her Followers laughing out loud after revealing that she had to pay R700 for two simple burger meals and this was just not something her South African budget is prepared for.

Many people joked that she should ignore her budget and have some fun while others could not believe that Dubai food was so costly.

DJ Zinhle is one of the country’s most successful artists and has a business empire that is growing steadily under her watchful eye.

When she isn’t designing new jewellery for her accessories company Era by DJ Zinhle, she is modeling wigs from her Hair Majesty company.

She also has a number of hit songs such as Umlilo and Colours and continues to make a name for herself in the South African music industry.

Despite this, she does have a limit on how much she is willing to spend on food. Taking to her Twitter page last week, she complained about the prices of food in Dubai.

According to Zinhle – who has two daughters, six-year-old Cairo with rapper AKA, and baby Asante with Black Motion DJ, Murdah Bongz – she paid R700 for two burgers while eating in the hi-tech city.

“We paid R700 for two burgers, two fries & 2 orange juices. Hhay guys! My budget ain’t for Dubai living. Tjo! I respect the girls who frequent this place because right now I must just pretend that I’m not hungry again,” wrote Zinhle in a tweet.
