DJ Zinhle had the difficult task of publicly wishing her baby daddies – musos AKA and Murdah Bongz – a happy Father’s Day.

But whilst she tried to appease both her current boyfriend and her ex, many fans don’t think it was the best decision to do.

ZINHLE RETURNS THE FAVOUR

Taking to Instagram, DJ Zinhle shared a Father’s Day post dedicated to her current boyfriend Murdah – real name Bongani Mahosana.

Zinhle and Murdah share daughter Asante together. The DJ also wished her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy AKA a happy Father’s Day on her Instagram Stories and in a Twitter post. Zinhle and AKA are the parents of six-year-old daughter Kairo.

Last month, AKA defended his decision to publicly wish DJ Zinhle a happy Mother’s Day, despite dating female rapper Nadia Nakai.

He replied to a tweep who criticised his decision to praise Zinhle: “It’s called … maturity. Being an adult. Try it. It’s lit”

FANS ARE SPLIT ON THE DECISION

But it seems as though Zinhle has faced the same fate as AKA with many tweeps questioning why the star would ‘embarrass’ her boyfriend Murdah with the post.

@MozzeMkgotlis: “Imagine your girlfriend posting some dude ‘Happy Father’s Day. Let Kairo post her father not you”

@Pushca_SA: “If I was the current boyfriend, it’s over go back to your ex fusek”

@MyStupid_Friend: “If we are dating and you post your baby daddy we are done. That’s humiliating the other guy, imagine what his family and friends will say when they see this. No guys this kind of behaviour is not on. Stop it!”

@Schwarz_Dutch: “I think an SMS or WhatsApp message would have been fine instead”

On the flip side, many tweeps defended both Zinhle and AKA, praising them for their ability to not only co-parent but be respectful to each other.
