Prince Kaybee and Black Coffee have become the AKA and Cassper Nyovest of Mzansi’s DJ world as they similarly shade each other on Twitter.

The hostility between the two has been evident for some time, with Prince Kaybee lashing out at DJ Black Coffee once again in an interview with Everything SA Music on Sunday 21 March.

PRINCE KAYBEE: YOU CAN’T ‘FORCE’ RESPECT

Prince Kaybee opened up about his personal opinion of Black Coffee, saying that he lacks respect for the DJ.

“I’ve got this thing about me…apparently it’s being arrogant. I really need you to earn my respect from a very personal point,” said Prince Kaybee.

“Respect and recognition are two different things. I can recognise you as the world’s number one DJ, but you can’t force me to respect you,” he added.

He then went on to mention that Black Coffee did not do anything to earn his respect.

“I didn’t see him as a God cause; there is no reason to do that. Also, I don’t think that Black Coffee has got a dope catalogue creatively.”

WHERE THE ‘BEEF’ BEGAN

Prince Kaybee and Black Coffee shocked Tweeps last year when they went at each other in a Twitter post. Prince Kaybee tweeted a cryptic about “local celebrities”:

To the surprise of many, Black Coffee jumped into the comments section, saying:

“Here’s a question without the ‘urge of sounding intelligent’ …are you a celebrity?”

Prince Kaybee then responded, saying he does not care much about labels and sees himself as more of a servant of the people.

“I’m an artist and creator first. I don’t care much about the definitions of the industry because I know who and what I am,” Prince Kaybee added.
