Media personality Ayanda Thabethe has responded to claims she and her ex-husband Andile Ncube got a divorced.

The former couple got married in 2014 after getting engaged in 2013. Although they split in 2016, it appears they never actually got a divorce.

AYANDA REVEALS SHE AND ANDILE NEVER GOT DIVORCED

Controversial social media entertainment commentator Musa Khawula recently decided to ruffle some feathers when he dug into the archives to tweet about Ayanda and the sportscaster’s love life.

“Remember when Andile Ncube and Ayanda Thabethe got divorced and they never spoke about the reasons behind their divorce,” Musa tweeted.

However, Musa’s tweet was quickly cleared by Ayanda who corrected him by revealing that she and her ex never got divorced even though they are no longer together. She further revealed that they actually did not sign which means their marriage was customary.

“First of all we didn’t get divorced because we never signed. So let’s get this fact straight as well. Thanks,” she tweeted.

‘GIVE ME FACTS, I’LL TAKE THEM’

This revelation promoted tweeps to question Ayanda about her knowledge of the law where marriage is concerned in South Africa.

One tweep who attempted to correct Musa by specifically calling Ayanda and Andile’s marriage a “customary marriage,” also got a response from the presenter.

“All factors regarding our then customary marriage were handled. Thanks …”

Many of her fans also advised her against paying attention to reports by Musa, telling her she should just ignore and keep it moving. But, Ayanda does not agree, as she wants only facts to be reported about her.

“I’m at a point in my life where I’ve moved on and turned a beautiful chapter with people I care about more than anything and I don’t want anyone to cloud that with false information. Give me facts, I’ll take them, don’t lie about my life,” said the new mom.
