MEGHAN MARKLE CALLED OUT FOR NOT ATTENDING KING’S CORONATION

In an interview with Talk TV, an American-based royal expert, Kinsey Schofield, calls Meghan Markle, saying she is “disrespecting the monarchy” by not attending her father-in-law’s coronation on 6 May at Westminster Abbey along with Prince Harry.

Especially since King Charles stepped in on her wedding day and walked her down the aisle.

“How disrespectful to not come and support not only Harry but the father-in-law who walked you down the aisle when your own father wasn’t there to support you on your wedding day,” Schofield said, as reported by The Sun.

“I think they’re entitled. You just discussed seating arrangements, I think that this is an example of being entitled. This is an example of not only disrespecting the monarchy but disrespecting your elders,” she added.

DUCHESS OF SUSSEX WILL SKIP CROWNING CEREMONY TO STAY WITH KIDS

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently announced that Meghan Markle would skip King Charles’ coronation.

But according to The Mirror, the reason Prince Harry will attend the coronation alone on 6 May, is far more straightforward than many believe.

The publication reports Meghan decided to stay at home as the coronation is on the same date as Prince Archie’s fourth birthday.

Prince and Princess were reportedly not invited to attend their grandfather’s crowning as they are too young.

“I understand that Archie’s fourth birthday (also on May 6) played a factor in the couple’s decision. Expect it to be a fairly quick trip to the UK for Prince Harry, who will only be attending the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey,” Royal editor Omid Scobie tweeted.
