It has been revealed that former England captain David Beckham was able to secure a £10 million (just under R250 million) mortgage for a Miami penthouse.
It has been reported by The Sun that the former player, now 48-years-old, will be required to make repayments totaling more than £40,000 per month after adding taxes to the mortgage instalment amount.

While establishing Inter Miami football team, Beckham purchased the $17.15 million apartment on the 59th level of One Thousand Museum through his company Beckham Brand Ltd.

It contains five bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, the first private helipad in Miami, and terraces with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The tower’s double-level gym and Jacuzzi, infinity pool, and hair and beauty complex are also accessible to him wife Victoria, 49.

The house, which cost $22.6 million when it was purchased three years ago, is only one piece of the couple’s £70 million-plus portfolio of properties.
A £6 million Cotswolds home and a £31 million London townhouse are also included among those properties.
