Sies! SA slams Ultra’s ’empty’ statement on Costa Titch’s death

‘Your PR team is terrible! Ultra brand could do much better than this empty and informal note,’ wrote one person about Ultra SA’s statement.

South Africans are still coming to terms with the passing of local musician Costa Titch (Constantinos Tsobanoglou). The artist died after having what appears to be a seizure during a performance at the Ultra Music Festival. The event organisers have since issued a statement regarding the star’s passing which has left his fans fuming.

According to their comments, the public relations team at Ultra should have put more effort into the statement which appears to have been written in a cellphone’s “notes” app.

It’s only been a few days since 27-year-old Costa Titch died during a live performance at the Ultra SA musical festival.
The amapiano star collapsed mid-song and was rushed away by security.

Footage from the heartbreaking scene has been widely shared on social media by fans of the star who witnessed it firsthand.
Since his passing, many South African celebs including Nadia Nakai, and Cassper Nyovest have shared messages of condolence with his family.

Ultra SA also shared a statement on their Twitter page with a short message about the late musician.

SA is unimpressed

Many people quickly criticised the events company for what they are calling an unprofessional and empty statement.
