Streaming platform Netflix has decided not to renew American socialite Paris Hilton’s cooking show Cooking With Paris.

‘COOKING WITH PARIS’ CANCELLED

Paris Hilton’s cooking show premiered on Netflix in August 2021. The cooking show almost immediately received critical reviews, being dubbed as a “disaster”.

“The show feels awkward, stagnant — like a teen who’s outgrown their childish antics but cannot quite bring themselves to embrace the inevitability of adulthood. Its forced frivolity backfires, and instead of fun, the enterprise is inescapably melancholic,” read a review by Hollywood Reporter.

Paris had guest hosts such as Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato and Saweetie over the six episodes. Her mom Kathy and sister Nicky also made guest appearances. Cooking With Paris was not an average cooking show. The socialite did cook but in over-the-top outfits without basic knowledge of many things.

Deadline reports that Netflix decided not to renew the series for a second season.

REALITY SERIES WITH CARTER REUM

Cooking With Paris may be cancelled but the socialite and her husband Carter Reum documented their wedding. This was done on a reality show titled Paris In Love for Peacock TV.

“Fashion icon, entrepreneur and global phenom. Hilton prepares to add a new title to her collection: bride. Finding love with Carter Reum, a successful venture capitalist, has brought Paris into the next phase of her life as she hopes to walk down the aisle with the man of her dreams,” reads the synopsis of the series.

“From bridal dress shopping and choosing the venue to designing her dream destination wedding and participating in her bachelorette party, Paris discovers that the road to the altar has a few unexpected twists and turns along the way. With the help of her family and friends, the former “Simple Life” songstress hopes to find her own ‘happily ever after’,” the synopsis continued.

Take a look at a clip from the show below.

“When you make a pact, you keep your pact, but Carter knew the show had to go on. ???????? I love my husband. ????????‍❤️‍????‍???????????????? More fun from our Vegas weekend on #ParisInLove @PeacockTV ????,” the post was captioned.
