Chris Coutroulis: Celeb pals comfort Vanessa Carreira after hubby’s death

Lee-Ann Liebenberg has comforted her best friend Vanessa Carreira after the passing of the latter’s husband Chris Coutroulis this week…

Vanessa – a Miss SA 2001 winner and Lee- Ann – who was a finalist in the 2002 pageant – have been firm friends for over a decade. And their close-knit relationship extended to their significant others too – Lee-Ann’s husband Nicky van der Walt was close friends with Chris.

The Johannesburg businessman tragically died this week after a lengthy illness.

LEE-ANN LIEBENBERG COMFORTS VANESSA CARREIRA

Lee-Ann took to Instagram to post a tribute to Chris Coutroulis, who was married to Vanessa for 14 years.

She wrote: “My heart is broken into a million pieces. Gone way too soon Chrissy. Your legacy will live on forever”.

Lee-Ann hailed Chris as a “devoted husband and loving father” and claimed that the couple had an “unbreakable” bond.

She continued: “My darling @vanessa_carreira, I am absolutely devastated for you and your beautiful babies. Chris is a proud LION husband and father who loves you guys so incredibly much. I know he’ll never leave your side, and he will always protect and look after you.

“The strong love and bond you two shared will last a few lifetimes…Your unwavering courage these past few months have been a true testament to the deep love and devotion you two have for each other. You are his fearless LIONESS. I know how you two love to travel together. And I know your beautiful adventures will continue when you meet again”.

And the model and mom-of-three also vowed to support her bestie through the difficult ordeal.

“We are ALWAYS be here for you, and we are keeping you and your family in our prayers”, she added.

TABOO NIGHTCLUB PAYS TRIBUTE TO CHRIS COUTROULIS

Meanwhile the Taboo Group, which Chris Coutroulis founded, invited patrons to leave their special tributes to him at their iconic red door.

Chris and his wife Vanessa Carreira owned the group of Johannesburg nightclubs which also includes Boa, Cocoon and Onyx amongst others.

A number of DJs, artists and celebrities alike have paid tribute to him on social media since his passing.
