‘You are our Miss SA’: Chad Le Clos praises Jeanni Mulder [photos]

Chad Le Clos has publicly praised his girlfriend Jeanni Mulder after she secured a spot in the Miss South Africa Top 5 on Saturday.

Chad Le Clos is one proud boyfriend after his partner Jeanni Mulder finished in the Top 5 at the Miss South Africa pageant on Saturday 16 October.

The Olympic swimmer – who has been dating the Cape Town model for three years – heaped praise on her after she secured a spot as a pageant finalist.

‘AN UNBELIEVABLE ACHIEVEMENT’

Le Clos – who attended the Miss South Africa crowning at the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World over the weekend – posted a picture of himself and girlfriend Jeanni Mulder backstage at the competition on Instagram.

He wrote in the caption: “We are all so proud of everything you have achieved these last few months. I honestly never thought we would be here looking back and it. Fills me with pride, Top 5 Miss South Africa is an unbelievable achievement.. you are our Miss South Africa always ..we all love you ..the champ”.

Jeanni made the Top 5 with contestants Bianca Bezuidenhout, Lalela Mswane, Zimi Mabunzi and Moratwe Masima.

Lalela was officially crowned the new Miss South Africa, whilst Moratwe and Zimi were placed 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.

JEANNI MULDER CONGRATULATES NEW MISS SA

Jeanni Mulder took to her own Instagram account to reflect on her Miss South Africa achievement, and thank her fans.

She wrote: Last night I achieved something that a year ago I thought would be impossible  – what an honour making top 5 at @official_misssa, alongside phenomenal women.

“I am SO proud of myself & I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me, I saw it all & received all the messages – my heart is filled with gratitude, I feel so loved

The 24-year-old also congratulated the new Miss SA winner Lalela Mswane, who she affectionately nicknamed “Lali”.

“My Lali, our new Miss South Africa 2021 – my OG roomie, I know your heart & I am so proud of you – you WILL change lives,” she added.

“I love you so much,” Lalela replied in the comment section.

Lalela and Jeanni were roommates in Cape Town’s The Table Bay Hotel during the lead up to the competition’s finale and have developed a firm friendship.
