Cassper Nyovest recently announced that he was stepping into the world of TV and he cannot be more excited. The popular Mzansi rapper announced online that he would be hosting a local television show. He also shared that he was feeling quite anxious about it, but promised to give it his all.
Onwards and upwards for Cass
South African rapper and shoe designer Cassper Nyovest announced on Tuesday 20 July that he would be hosting a local television show. The star added that he was recording his first-ever episode for the mystery show and was feeling quite anxious about everything.
“Starting my first TV show tomorrow as a presenter. It’ll be airing on SABC in a few months. Very interesting job that I took actually, very nervous but I have to kill it. It’s gonna open up mad doors.” he wrote.

What we know about the mystery show
Responding to questions about the show, Cass revealed that it was not a new show. According to the rapper, we all know what it’s about and have probably seen it before, making him the only new thing about it.
“The show is not new but I’m the new presenter. Since there are no shows, we have to take other types of shows so it’s my new job, first time presenting. I’m very nervous but I’m very keen to learn and explore and also connect with the market,” he said.
Meanwhile, Cass’s friends, The Major League DJz also go for TV
IOL also reported that the Major League DJz, Bandile, and Banele Mbere, close friends of Cassper Nyovest will also be venturing into TV. While the popular DJs won’t be presenting anything, they will be opening their lives up for a reality show.
According to the publication, the show is to be called Inside Life: MajorLeague DJz and will also be featuring South African entertainer Uncle Vinny.
