Fans began to notice that some of their favourite local stars had their blue ticks removed from their accounts as soon as Twitter Blue went live on Thursday.

Rapper and well-known boxer Cassper Nyovest was one of them. When a fan suggested he sign up for the service, Nyovest replied:

“Nope. I’m verified in the streets!!!!”

Since then, Casspers’s verification tick has been restored, suggesting that he has subscribed.

Along with hip-hop musicians like Kid X, Zingah, Sliqe, Rouge, DJ Capital, and Speedsta, other famous people who don’t seem to have signed up for blue-tick verification include amapiano stars Felo Le Tee, Focalistic, Daliwonga, Sir Trill, Pabi Cooper, Mas Musiq, and Mr. JazziQ.

Jimmy Kimmel, a TV presenter with 11 million Twitter followers on the app, initially stated he wouldn’t be joining up for the service but has since had his blue tick restored.

Other well-known individuals, including Bill Gates, Beyoncé, Stephen King, and LeBron James, also had their verifications revoked before they were restored, either by Musk himself (he recently declared that he would pay for some well-known celebrity verifications out of his own pocket) or by signing up for Twitter Blue.

Fans anticipate a date for the Cassper Nyovest VS. Big Zulu match

Big Zulu, the face of iNkabi Records and an upcoming performer, has succeeded.

He has successfully hosted a celebrity boxing match, making him the second South African star to do so.

This is due to the fact that fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest introduced the concept to South Africa.

But when Big Zulu was unable to secure a date to face Cassper in the ring, he came up with his own version.

It was comparable to how Cassper Nyovest defeated Priddy Ugly in his second celebrity boxing match on April 23, 2023, during his first contest.

Big Zulu was similarly successful in using a technical knockout to win his boxing battle in the opening frame.

Even if the boxing match and talent were, to put it mildly, dubious, it was still a victory.

Cassper stepped into the ring to celebrate Big Zulu.

Big Zulu then pressured Cassper to choose a date for their battle while the celebration was still going on.
