‘False accusations from the truth’: Zola 7 claps back at Pearl Thusi

Veteran musician Zola 7 has fired back at actress Pearl Thusi after she made mention of his GBV allegations in a tweet.

South African veteran musician Bonginkosi Dlamini, popularly known as Zola 7, hit back at actress Pearl Thusi for the remarks she made against him – via a tweet on 9 March.

After the death and rumoured suicide of rapper Riky Rick Tweeps showed concern ove rliving icons such as Zola 7. Mzansi was coming together to donate money but some Tweeps thought celebrities were just chasing clout and not actually helping him 

“If we can lose a legend like Zola 7 right now celebrities will all be acting clever like they used to cook pap for him. No one is lifting him up now during difficult situation. The only person I saw last year lifting him up was Cass the rest are just clout chasers,” tweeted @RealMrumaDrive.

Pearl Thusi fired back at the tweet saying that the Gender-based Violence (GBV) claims made against the musician “made things tricky.”

“The awkward GBV moment kinda made things a bit tricky,” tweeted Pearl.

Zola 7 was accused of abuse when his wife Sibongile Nkabinde allegedly opened a case of physical and emotional abuse against him. The musician was also accused of allowing his dog to attack a journalist invited to his home.

MUSICIAN HITS BACK AT THE ACTRESS 

Zola 7 has since allegedly clapped back at the Quantico star. The musician appears to be using a Twitter account with the handle @Officialzola7. He claimed the GBV allegations were “false accusations. Take a look…

“Those who know me at a close proximity know false accusations from the truth,” tweeted @officialzola7.

The musician also previously denied the allegations made against by his wife. 

“Look, I don’t know anything about these reports you talking about. I am at work and am not interested in  speaking to the media. If I had anything to say, I would use my social media,” he said to Tshisa LIVE.
