YFA SEASON TWO: KHANYI AND ZARI CALL A TRUCE?

While Zari Hassan and Khanyi Mbau started off as enemies in season one of Young, Famous, and African, the women seemingly graduate to “frenemies” in season two.

MUSIC CAREERS: WHO DID IT BEST?

Social media users have recently unearthed clips of both Khanyi and Zari’s music careers from years past. And their findings are truly embarrassing.

Take a look at Zari’s autotune track titled Kikoona.

The music video for the song – released in 2010 – stars Zari’s three eldest sons.

Similarly, social media users discovered Khanyi Mbau’s catalogue of music, also produced in 2010.

One of her tracks is titled Igwinya, named after the savoury treat commonly known as a “vetkoek”.

Khanyi told TshisaLive of her failed music career: “I was 20, and it fell flat on its face. I was too caught up in my ex and other things in my life. You have to work on your music, and I didn’t give music enough of my time, so it flopped,”
