Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker and French national player Kylian Mbappe may have had a bitter ending to the FIFA World Cup as France lost 4-2 to Lionel Messi’s Argentina on Sunday 18 December in the penalty shootouts in the final, but he put on a stellar performance as he scored a hat-trick (three goals) in the game.

The 23-year-old’s hattrick put him a goal ahead of his PSG teammate Messi, as Mbappe became the highest goal scorer of the tournament with eight goals — winning him the Golden Boot award.

Not only is Mpabbe a Golden Boot winner, but he is linked to two women this year — models Ines Rau and Rose Bertram.

While it isn’t too clear which one of the two beauties, has his heart, French publication Corriere Dello Sports reported earlier this year that he has been spotted with Rau a couple of times.

KYLIAN MBAPPE AND INES RAU SPOTTED TOGETHER

According to various reports, after calling it quits with Emma Smet, Mbappe has been dating a famous model Ines Rau for quite some time now.

The couple was seen for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival, and then on the yacht where the footballer was spotted carrying his supermodel bae.

WHO IS INES RAU?

Mbappe’s girlfriend, Rau, was born in France to Algerian parents. The model, who is 32 years old, underwent gender reassignment surgery when she was only 16 years old. At the age of 24, she publically opened up about it.

Her claim to fame is being named Playboy magazine’s “Playmate of the month” in November 2017.

This was a historic moment for the publication as well as the LGBTQI+ community as Rau was the first openly transgender woman to appear on the famous magazine’s cover.

After gaining popularity, she published an autobiography titled Woman in 2018. In the autobiography, she spoke about her gender reassignment surgery.

“I feel that my soul is finally free as if the lock that kept me locked up for so long had opened. This time I am totally a woman,” she said.

“I lived a long time without saying I was transgender. I dated a lot and almost forgot. I was scared of never finding a boyfriend and being seen as weird. Then I was like, You know, you should just be who you are,” the footballer’s girlfriend was quoted as saying.

Neither Rau nor Mbappe have confirmed nor denied the speculations about their relationship.
