Carolyn Smith, the mom of American actor Will Smith says she was stunned by her son slapping actor Chris Rock on stage during the Oscars ceremony held in Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday 27 March.

THE SLAP THAT WENT VIRAL… AND WHY

Will Smith had tongues wagging across the globe after he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars on Sunday 27 March. This was after Rock made a G.I. Jane 2 joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head.

Will first laughed but his reaction changed when he saw that his wife was left unimpressed. It is also important to note that Jada opened up about being bald because of alopecia. Will got off his seat and stormed on stage to slap Rock across the face.

“Keeps my wife’s name out your f**king mouth,” he said.
