Veteran actor Ray Liotta passed away suddenly in the Dominican Republic on Thursday 26 May.
Ray Liotta’s publicist Jen Allen confirmed his death, saying the actor died in his sleep while shooting a new movie in the Dominican Republic. She said that there were no suspicious circumstances. Liotta was shooting for the film Dangerous Waters at the time of his death.

Liotta is most popular for his role as Henry Hill in the gangster cult classic Goodfellas but he also starred in many other films, such as,
Liotta was born in Newark, New Jersey on 18 December 1954.
The veteran actor was abandoned by his parents as a baby at an orphanage. The Independent reports that he got his name from his adoptive parents at the age of six months.
The actor was married to actress Michelle Grace. The pair got married in 1997 and welcomed a daughter named Karsen Liotta in 1998.
“My whole life is about her. Being a dad. She’ll come up and visit me on set,” he said to The Guardian in 2007.
“I don’t like to go too long without seeing her. Maybe a couple of weeks. I just had a period of four months at home because I decided not to do a movie so I could spend more time with her. It was all about taking her to dance classes, playing with her,” he continued.
Michelle and Liotta divorce in 2004 but they remained on good terms and even worked on the movie Take The Lead together.
At the time of his death, Liotta was engaged to Jacy Nittolo. The pair seem to have gotten engaged in December 2020.
