KykNet has announced that there will be a second Afrikaans series in the Real Housewives franchise titled Real Housewives van die Wynlande (RHOWL). Here is a look at the cast.
KYKNET ANNOUNCES THE ‘REAL HOUSEWIVES VAN DIE WYNLANDE’
Following the Real Housewives van Pretoria (RHOPTA), the Real Housewivesvan die Wynlande is the second Afrikaans series in the Real Housewives franchise.
The Real Housewives franchise made its debut in 2006 with the Real Housewives of Orange County. 11 adaptations have been produced in the US and 21 international versions. This will be the sixth South African series in the franchise following Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Pretoria and Gqebera.
Real Housewivesvan die Wynlande will air on KykNet (DStv channel 144) on 20 April. The series was film around Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Somerset West.

Married to Werner, Candice is a mom to Emma.
She was a singer turned corporate and became the marketing manager for Quench – which was bought by the TFG Group.
Candice and Werner are in the process of opening a restaurant.
5. MICHELLE VAN ZYL

Michelle is a medical doctor who specialises in trauma
She us now an esthetician who specialises in botox and other treatments
She is married to Dr. André Olivier and they live in the Boskloof Eco Estate in Somerset West.
The pair have two children together – Hanno and Heidi
Dr. André also has two sons from his previous marriage. His two sons live in Namibia.
6. ANITA LLOYD

Anita is married to her school sweetheart Boyce.
The pair live outside Paarl but previously lived around the world for Boyce’s work for about 10 years before returning to South Africa.
She holds a master’s degree in linguistics. Anita gave up her career as a teacher to support her husband’s profession. Boyce has been the CEO of KWV since 2016.
