The National Lunch Date between Pearl Thusi and Mr Smeg – real name Michael Bucwa topped Twitter trends this afternoon when they showed up at Oskido’s restaurant.
The pair met for the first time at Daruma restaurant which is owned by the kwaito legend.

PEARL THUSI SHOWS UP
Tweeps were relieved when actress Pearl Thusi made it to her National Lunch Date with Mr Smeg at Oskido’s restaurant.
Their date gained momentum two days ago (27 January) when the Queen Sono actress agreed to the invite.
“I have more exciting news for us for our #NationalLunchDate@MichaelBucwa! I’ll share later!” she wrote.
The mother of two also shared that she would take care of the bill when they go on their date.
A nervous Thusi went live with Scandal! Actress Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong to shake off the nervous.
She also shared a YouTube link to their date so that her fans and followers can watch live.
TWEEPS PITY MR SMEG
Tweeps also realised how shy and nervous Mr Smeg looked on his date with Pearl Thusi and offered him tips to relax.

“Pull out a chair for her.”
“Bring her some flowers.”
“Tell her she looks beautiful and maintain eye contact.”
He shared on Twitter that he will be wearing a custom-made outfit by Tshepo Jeans and that he’ll also wear sneakers from Drip Footwear.
Pearl Thusi will also be gifted a set of lingerie from Thando Thabethe, who owns the brand Thabootys.
