‘I am very proud of you for shinning so bright’: Murdah to Kairo
In his congratulatory message to slain rapper AKA, Murdah Bongz also penned a sweet message to AKA and Zinhle’s daughter Kairo Forbes.

Musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz expressed how proud he is of slain rapper AKA and DJ Zinhle’s daughter Kairo Forbes via an Instagram post on Monday 8 May.

INSIDE THE BLENDED FAMILY
DJ Zinhle and slain rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, welcomed Kairo Forbes in July 2015. The pair were in an on and off relationship for a few years before reportedly calling it quits in 2020. AKA moved on with Anele “Nelli” Tembe. However, Nelli tragically plunged to her death from the tenth floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town while on vacation with the rapper at just 22 years old.
DJ Zinhle moved on with former Black Motion star Murdah Bongz and they welcomed Asante Mohosana. This was also Murdah Bongz’s second child as he has a son from a previous relationship. Murdah Bongz paid lobola for DJ Zinhle so they refer to each other as husband and wife, but they have not yet had their wedding.
AKA then moved on from Nelli with rapper Nadia Nakai in December 2021. AKA and Nadia confirmed their romance in March 2022. AKA was tragically shot dead outside of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February.

MURDAH PENNS SWEET MESSAGE TO KAIRO FORBES
Following AKA’s death, fans have noted that Murdah has been “step dad goals”. Taking to Instagram on Monday 8 May, the musician congratulated AKA on winning four awards at the Metro FM Music Awards (MMAs) and he penned a sweet message to Kairo. Take a look…
“A big congratulations to Aka and The Megacy, well deserved to you Kiernan. I am very proud of you @kairo.forbes for shining so bright. @lynnforbesza and @tonydforbes well done to you and the team on all the hard work nobody gets to see. The Megacy will live forever. #inMegawetrusttrusttrust ❤️,” he wrote.
