uThando Nesthembu star Thobile “Makhumalo” Khumalo received a  brand-new Mercedes-Benz, as seen in a tweet on 8 October.


Polygamist Musa Mseleku’s third wife Thobile “MaKhumalo” Khumalo was seen receiving a brand-new Mercedes-Benz. Pictures of MaKhumalo with a Mercedes-Benz C Class were shared on Twitter. 

The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star was pictured holding a bouquet of flowers, balloons, chocolates and a few gift bags.

“This woman (sic)deserves EVERYTHING the Universe has to offer. Congratulations Thobile Khumalo Mseleku,” read the tweet.

According to The Citizen, it is unclear whether MaKhumalo purchased the car herself as Musa previously purchased a Mercedes for his four wives on a previous episode of uThando Nesthembu. The new ride is worth close to a R1 million – R972,455.64, according to the website.

The car is an automatic sedan which has features including a reversing camera, Mercedes-Benz emergency call system, fingerprint scanner and much more.

Twitter users slammed MaKhumalo for being a “yes woman” and claimed that she was only in her relationship with Musa for the money.

“Makhumalo says yebo baba to everything.  I’m starting to think she doesn’t really love Musa. She is in this for the bag .#Uthandonesthembu,” wrote @Petunia90156389.

However, other Tweeps defending her working hard and being an inspiration.

“Makhumalo works hard and makes her own money,” wrote @Marge302.

“Even me. But MaKhumalo would be my inspiration if I was to be in a polygamous marriage,” wrote @A_Dot85.
