Palesa Moloantoa, a graduate from the University of South Africa (Unisa) was said to have graduated with 25 distinctions.

A Bachelor of Consumer Science recent graduate from the University of South Africa (Unisa) Palesa Moloantoa could not be more proud of herself for graduating with 25 distinctions.
HALALA! WOMAN GRADUATES WITH 25 DISTINCTIONS
Growing up with a single parent, Moloantoa was said to have admired her mother’s work ethic. According to the Unisa, she completed the course within three years.
Her mother Joyce Moloantoa was thrilled to see her daughter’s achievements and reportedly said,
“My daughter’s degree had 30 modules, and of 30, she got 25 distinctions.”
In 2019, Moloantoa was said to have first registered at another residential university however she paused her studies after realising that she had chosen the wrong degree for her career aspirations. She was then said to have joined Unisa in 2020.
Moloantoa was quoted as saying,
“I took five modules per semester; it was challenging and lonely —however, I had to make the most of quiet times at home to achieve my academic goal.”

She added,
“It is hard to make friends in a distance university; you become bound to the house and watch your laptop the whole time. You need a lot of internal motivation as a Unisa student. I had to keep a diary to know my study schedules and to be accurate in my schoolwork.”
Taking to Twitter, Moloantoa announced her achievement and said,
“A Cum Laude Graduate. I did it, no? 🎓 “

Meanwhile, in another Unisa story, Reverend Abel Mokena reportedly obtained his law degree at the age of 80, IOL reported. Mokoena was said to have taken over a decade to complete his studies and has never once thought of quitting.
