Iconic! Uncle Waffles and KFC relaunch the ‘Uncle Waffles Burger’
Swaziland-born DJ Uncle Waffles announced that she and KFC South Africa have relaunched the ‘Uncle Waffles Burger’.

Amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles—real name Lungelihle Zwane took to Instagram and revealed that she had been working with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) again and that together they had brought back her signature burger; her announcement had her fans and online followers excited as they shared that they were glad she was making such ‘iconic” moves.

According to Kaya FM, Uncle Waffles had collaborated and come up with an exclusive burger named the Uncle Waffles Burger which was said to have been limited. It was reportedly that it was only available in Durban and that it was only sold between the eighth and the 18th of December 2022. And now, the Uncle Waffles Burger is back. The signature burger was said to consist of a crispy KFC fillet dunked in maple chipotle sauce and is served between two warm waffles.
Taking to her feed, Uncle Waffles shared pictures taken during the relaunch of her signature burger and said,
“If you like it, get it twiceeeeeee. Uncle waffles burger is back baby! For a limited time only!! available at Kentucky town Pretoria. Make sure to come through and get yourself some cute merch items too 🤭 #WafflesAtKFC #KentucyTown”

Uncle Waffles has been flying the flag high for Africa as a continent since the beginning of the year. She was in America on a 200-day tour where she also stopped to perform at Coachella in Palm Springs. All her round, she has been rubbing shoulders with huge stars such as supermodel Naomi Campbell and R&B singer Ciara. As of recently, she has also been on the lips of former Destiny’s Child members Beyoncé Knowles Carter and Kelly Rowland.
